He’s doing your job for free, he’s 10. The minimum wage is a bad thing that harms workers. While that may sound counterintuitve to some it doens’t take much of a business understanding to eventually understand why. I always tell people to ask themselves, if $15 an hour is good, why not $20? Eventually they reach a number where they agree it’s not worth that much money. Once they understand jobs have value it’s easy to get them to udnerstand why a minimum wage takes away the right of a business owner to set the value of his employees in relation to his business. If the value is set then he must find workers that meet that value, meaning workers he might have otherwise hired don’t get the job. They are valued out of the job market.
