Girl, 5, suspended from school for playing with a stick | Daily Mail Online

First off, it’s a stick, not a gun. If teachers want to inform children about gun violence that’s fine but I have issue with suspending a child from their school for a stick or pointing a finger and going “bang!” as these things don’t actually fire bullets. I know that’s surprising to discover but they aren’t real firearms. “The youngster picked up the stick which she found in the school yard and pointed it, causing alarm among staff. The school sent Caitlin home and photographed the offending object before sending a copy of the image to her mother Brandy Miller.” Imagine her mother’s shock upon seeing such a graphic image!

Mum went on to say,

‘When I showed up to get her, she looked so confused and didn’t understand why I was there or what a suspension was or why it was happening to her. It was sad. And trying to explain to her that playing like that is wrong was a challenge… because it’s not wrong to play like a damn kid when you’re a kid! I’m so mad.

‘I wish my kids were raised in a better time period when just being a kid was perfectly acceptable.’

Really our time period is perfectly acceptable, it’s just that squishy leftist school administrators and teachers impose a subjective and warped world view on the students they have captive in their schools.

Caitlin Miller of Hoke County, South Carolina was ordered home after officials saw her during the game of ‘King and Queen’ with her two friends while on a break between lessons.
